With the cosmic, current Pluto retrograde that has started May 4 in Aquarius, the sign of humanity’s brother and sisterhood, it’s possible to unexpectedly meet your shadow and wonder what direction to take in order to keep your mind and body moving in harmony with your soul sense of self. Don’t be surprised if you find your personal evolution accelerating during this retrograde that continues until October 13th, 2025.
Or, perhaps you may feel a larger than normal emotional overload, and begin a new search into the inner recesses of unknown subconscious territories. Practicing meditation or doing yoga, can help you feel more centered and secure within. Also, thinking about activities that benefit your well-being can inspire you to sense and trust your intuition and connect with your inner essence.
For me, my love for star gazing has me checking out the location and aspects among the planets to better understand life and my current emotions. But, whatever choices you and I may be facing, it’s only possible to move forward one breath at a time. In relation to life being unpredictable, a favorite meditation for our trying but enlightened times is simple: Breathe in love, breathe out fear…repeat, and continue to repeat while holding the intention that you are moving forward on your path.
Also, with our warming weather in the Northern hemisphere, it becomes easier to stay grounded by doing activities connected with Mother Nature, like walking in the sunshine, visiting water fronts, and letting love rule our personal sense of what’s coming around the next corner.

Sitting in the sign of the new age, Aquarius, the recent, first new moon of 2025 beckons you to enjoy the new year. It’s the perfect time to repeat positive intentions such as “I am finding numerous opportunities to create happiness, and protective, healing energy flows all around me.”
If you have made resolutions for the new year, it’s also time to recommit to taking actions to fulfill them. Putting your resolution into a verbal affirmation can help remind you to water the seeds of its sprouting possibilities. A prosperous time for growth. it’s connected with new opportunities, sliding into deeper emotional connections, and just like the ability of snakes to shed their skin and keep slithering beyond expectations, it’s linked with powerful transformations. The snake embodies the vibrant importance of being open minded and flexible to new and maybe unexpected developments.

Western or Tropical astrology: Aug. 19th, the full moon is in Aquarius 11:26 am PDT.
Aquarius has the joint planetary rulership of Saturn, representative of strong authority figures, lessons to be learned, self-discipline, work, organization, responsibilities, and karma, and Uranus, whose influence is equaled with unexpected changes, revolution, and the desire for freedom. Even though big-hearted Aquarians are known to be humanitarians, its planetary rulers can make a spicy mix of emotional, electrical waves. Saturn’s energy may say yes to limitations and conformity, while Uranus dances to a different tune and rebels against them. You may hear one voice saying, “Go for it”, and another whispering, “Wait!” “What should I do?” can become a repetitive drumbeat in the background of your mind.

Happy New Moon in Pisces, sign of the fish, and watery, emotional lovers of poetry, dreams, and romantic quests. Diving deeper into the self is on the
menu along side the best of fish tacos. Hang in there, surf’s up for playing charades in hopeful currents of finding truth and overcoming troubles!
It’s still raining in Northern California. The rain on the roof can be a wonderful sound, but after a couple months of storms and down pours, I’d rather be dancing in the sun.
