Looking at the Sky

Looking at the Sky

Astrologically, we’re sitting between the full moon, lunar eclipse and the new moon, solar eclipse on the 8th. It’s the perfect time to juggle your dreams, watch them fall to your feet, and reset your expectations with greater awareness of how they can best be fulfilled. With Mercury retrograde that started on April Fool’s day, look for a colorful jester’s hat to remind you that even if you have so much work to do, you can always come back to it after you go on a much needed get away. Finding answers to soul searching questions should be a bit easier after Mercury goes direct on the 24th.

This is a great time to go inward and polish your soul self.  On the 8th of April, the New Moon-solar eclipse sits in Aries, the first sign on the zodiac wheel that represents fiery beginnings, planting new seeds for growth, and ram-kicking- butt possibilities. Astrologically, the cosmic egg is being cracked open for a magnetically charged reset of our world.  If you’re thinking about reinventing yourself or creating new life directions, now is the perfect time.  If you’re stuck in old patterns, the universe will lend you a hand to help you grow.  Don’t expect to keep the same old, same old as your norm because the cosmos has a plan for shifting universal consciousness.  To take advantage of this celestial phenomenon be alert to taking extra good care of yourself and making decisions that align with your highest good.  .

Best of good fortunes,

Kooch

New Moon Rising Tides

New Moon Rising Tides

Happy New Moon in Pisces, sign of the fish, and watery, emotional lovers of poetry, dreams, and romantic quests. Diving deeper into the self is on the

menu along side the best of fish tacos. Hang in there, surf’s up for playing charades in hopeful currents of finding truth and overcoming troubles!

It’s still raining in Northern California. The rain on the roof can be a wonderful sound, but after a couple months of storms and down pours, I’d rather be dancing in the sun.

Sorry that I don’t have time to linger here, but I’ve got a new book needing attention. Can’t wait to be able to share it with you!

Best of the coming lunar full moon eclipse in Libra on April 25th.

hugs to all, Kooch

Full Moon in Leo

Full Moon in Leo

Happy January and First Full Moon of This Year

Full Moon in Leo, sign of the celestial lion, is upon us.  It’s element, fire, intensifies desires and ignite passions to help them grow and glow.  Its solar heat is reflected in its polarity, the sign of Aquarius which is currently in the astrological spotlight.

On January 22 Pluto entered Aquarius, the water bearer, to bring forward the dawning of cultural and global consciousness.  You can expect to feel transitional WTF as we all adjust to hearing new voices screaming for peace and planetary awareness.  On Sept. 3 it returns briefly to sit in Capricorn, sign of karmic lessons, tradition, and mature authority, when you can expect to see some of the same old, getting older all the time patterns of patriarchal dominance.  Then on Nov. 20, 2024 Pluto waltzes back into Aquarius to kick butt and bring in the revolutionary spirit for peace and freedom (sorry Klaus) as it gathers momentum to leave for Pisces on March 10 2043.

Because Pluto is slow moving, the lessons it brings highlight the fine-tuning of generational perspectives that can last a life time.  Wherever you sit on the evolving wheel of life, you can expect change, cleaning debris out of your psyche’s cupboards, the failing of false communications, and the destruction of useless initiatives.  Hold on to your optimism, as these changes can bring an increase in clarity, opportunities for positive mental resets, and if luck is with us, overflowing happiness.

The new year is young and so are you, so go find some fun ways to celebrate. With Pluto moving into Aquarius your life is going to be shifting in some out-of-the-norm ways.

Best of life’s blessings,

Kooch

Happy 2024!

Happy 2024!

Did someone say play? Now that Jupiter and Mercury have gone direct, let the new year begin.

Happy 2024!

Searching for the mystical in the dawn turning to day, the night’s darkness turning to light.

Our 2023  wild ride on The Chariot numeric vibration has turned from 7 to 8 in 2024, and flipped over the Tarot

this bodes well for owning your strength to overcome obstacles, protecting your psychic space, and increasing the light of your awareness.

Enjoy Your Holidays, Even if Mercury is Retro

Enjoy Your Holidays, Even if Mercury is Retro

 Happy Solstice
.
Please….don’t shoot the messenger (Mercury is the Cosmic Messenger of the gods), but Mercury retrograde is upon us. It’s best to prepare your must have survival kit:
– a flexible mind
– letting go and going with what is–at least until you sort out ultimate options
– waiting until after January 2 to make long term commitments
– not going into emotional panic if someone doesn’t understand you
-staying calm in your heart centre when being confronted by retrograde issues (travel plan upsets, miscommunications, anger or gossip issues.)
.
Also setting intentions for being the best person you can be is a plus for calling in the spirit of hope.  Even if you’re focusing on bad weather or holiday frustrations, you can still look forward to the coming year and ever-new possibilities. If reading the stressful news makes you tumble into a downward spiral, turn your attention elsewhere. If we worry too much, we have to work harder than normal to stay upbeat.  Praying for peace in the world is like lighting a candle in the dark.
.
Sending you joyful wishes for the coming holidays and a wonderful, new year.

Halloween Made Me Write This

Halloween Made Me Write This

Ode to Halloween Madness
Halloween’s blood bright moon shines over crypts
Of transformation and emotions unexpectedly rising
From tombs of memories unburied by awakening dreams.
It’s auspicious to bring a candle to your table and replace
Fear with trust in your light’s power to overcome darkness.
.
.On a more serious note:
Now is the perfect time to set intentions as feelings and soul connections are moving into crystal clear focus.
For your well-being and the benefit of those you love, move forward with love and kindness,
and don’t carry the weight of the world on your shoulders.
.
.Memories are made of this:
On a frightful Friday the 13th experience was a romantic evening of doing readings sitting at a gypsy table secluded in the back of a party boat. I heard a loud thump under me when the boat hit a log and lost it’s rudder. All of a sudden we were all aboard a floating cork in the San Francisco bay with the Coast Guard circling with spot lights through the tuxedo clients who began to guzzle large tumblers of champagne and putting on their life jackets. Fast forward: The last man who I had read wouldn’t get off the boat without me. Everyone had walked the plank to board the coast guard boat but this adoring a-hole…well…he was so worried about me that he made a big stink that I shouldn’t be left behind. (I’m like…where can I hide). The next day (I stayed on the boat and it was towed to dock) I had a call from the owner of the fleet of commercial vessels telling me that his client reported me for being a hooker…and I was never to set foot on any of his boats again. I’m sure the gods were having a great laugh watching that one.
.
..Putting away my reading crown for a bit to work on another book.  Fingers crossed…not that I’m superstitious…of course not.
.
Only love,
   Kooch

PS:   Troubled Moon is a perfect read for the thinning of the veil.
