How To Clean Your Aura

Aura cleansing practices can increase your energy and help you clarify what you’re feeling on mental, emotional, and physical levels.  With awareness you can release negative feelings that can feel like they’re rocks sitting on your shoulders.  Just as you feel the need to jump into the shower when you feel dirty and clean your physical body, your sensing of unwanted energy can give you the incentive to clean your aura.

When you want to clean the vibrational energy surrounding your body, your aura, find your physical center and mentally affirm your healing connection with the earth.  Then, start listening to your inner dialogue.  What words, feelings, impressions are you communicating to yourself?   If you hear a negative mental message in your thoughts, give yourself permission to connect with powerful words that can influence your positive sense of self. Take any thoughts or feelings that disrupt your sense of wellness, and mentally throw them far, far away. Your willingness to clean your aura (even if you want to call on your angels, inner healer, or guides to help) can make your life better. 

 Three aura cleansing techniques:

#1.  While affirming that you cleaning your aura, put your hands with palms facing downward over the crown of your head.  As if you are sweeping with a broom, use downward strokes with your hands to sweep out all unwanted, dark or shadowed energy that may be sitting in your aura.  As you are sweeping out unwanted energy from the exterior space close to your body, visualize (or verbally acknowledge) a light coming from the center of your palm.  Imagine this light as a healing ray coming from within your third eye, and flowing down your arms into your palms.  Continue this sweeping motion until you feel an increase sense of positive energy.

#2. When you’re washing your physical body use a salt scrub to remove vibrational energy.  Verbally state your aura cleansing intention, and send any unwanted or negative energy down the drain.  Your self-dialogue can help you reduce stress and replace anxiety with optimism.

 #3.  Smudging your body with sage is another way to clean energy from your aura.  Sage and cedar are most often the herbs used for this practice. Connect with your voice of wisdom to raise the healing / electrical frequencies in your aura. 

Always affirm your positive intentions and proclaim that you are protecting, healing, and enhancing your energy.  After doing any of these practices your aura will be shining with a brighter light.

Conversing with your inner healer is a good place to begin your healing process.  What words, feelings, impressions are you communicating to your inner self?  How are your feeling in response to these powerful influences?  The messages  you give to yourself are key in directing your mind, emotions,  and body evolution. 

Certainly the exterior world, including the environment and outside stressors play a role in influencing our health.  Perhaps karma also points us toward a predestined fate.  But whatever is happening, be a fierce warrior to win over life’s difficulties.  Connect with your inner healer who depends on your willingness to firmly hold on to your strength and commitment to make your life better.  What can you do to reduce stressors or negative influences?  Can you balance anxiety with optimistic thinking? Don’t overlook doing little things each day that can help you feel better.
