Springtime Aura Cleaning

Springtime Aura Cleaning

The aura is an invisible field of electrical energy surrounding and extending from the physical body.  It’s like a halo, but it surrounds your entire being.

The aura contains energy patterns, comparable to invisible finger prints, that radiate from our thoughts and deepest feelings.  Within it, our physical health, past memories, future hopes and desires appear as holograms dancing within light and dark rays of light floating in the space near the body.

Just like taking a morning shower makes you feel fresh and ready for the day, cleaning your aura helps cleanse and release energy carried in your body’s electrical expanse.  Cleaning your aura can help you feel lighter and brighter.

Here are twp ways to cleanse your aura:

Obtain a sage bundle, and find some healthy fresh outdoor air.  As long it’s safe to light a match and ignite your smudge stick, do so. Verbalize a positive intention for releasing all negative energy from your inner and outer being.  It’s time to let your sage bundle get to work. Let its smoke mingle with your energy so that it cleansing smoke floats all around you.  Start smudging on the eastern side of your body (sun rise) and continue in a circle until you arrive at the western (sun set) of your body. Vocalize positive, self-love messages while smudging.

Another way to ground energy and cleanse your aura is to take a bath or shower with salt scrub.  Be gentle with your body, say a prayer, mantra, and set an intention for releasing anything negative that lingers near or within you. Your scrub is for healing your energy of all impurities. Use a natural salt scrub or salt grains from your cupboard. Be gentle with your body and inner spirit. Let your aura cleansing be a special time you give to honor your self.

Happy Springtime wishes,

Taking life with a grain of salt!

Sending love to all!

The challenges in our current times are huge.  I don’t need to write about the pandemic or ugly war.  We’ve all been facing these realities long enough to wish for these plights to be over. Trying to make sense of the suffering of humanity makes it easy to get caught in an unending river of tears. I keep hoping this horrific war is just a bad dream, and soon I’ll wake up on a tropical island with fresh coconut juice in my hand reading news of universal peace and healing of Mother Earth. Of course, my dream has me strutting my long-gone, twenty-year old body and showing it off in my itsy-bitsy, tiger stripped bikini.

Our interconnections with all sentient beings lives in the substratum of our being.  We are a one world family. It’s hard to ignore the suffering of others when we share the same collective awareness. Swami Muktananda said, “When you see something bad, where does it really exist. Does it exist in that person, in that place? . . . Or in your eyes? Think about this.”

A final note:  If you’re feeling anxious, it can be helpful to recall a happy memory and a feeling you associate with it until it brings a smile to your face.  Meditate on this memory and feel confident, happy, and strong.

 Wishing You Victory and Peace
